About the Workshops

What are the free-weight workshops?

The benefits of the lift(s) in each workshop and will explained and proper form will be taught and demonstrated. Workshops will provide attendees the opportunity to try the free-weight lift(s) and have their form adjusted and improved by a Strength and Conditioning Coach.

What are free-weights?

Free-weights refers to barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, etc. you can pick up and move around, unlike machines where the user and their movement is fixed. Free-weights are lifted against gravity and requires stabilizer muscles to engage to keep your joints in a safe range of motion. Because your body is forced to engage stabilizers, greater strength is built, and more calories are burned by using free-weights.

How often are workshops held?

Once per month on Saturdays. Check Class Schedule on Member Website to see exact dates/times.

Who can attend?

Workshops are for Fitness Syndicate members only.

Space is limited to 8 participants per workshop.

How much to attend?

Workshops are FREE for Fitness Syndicate members.

How do I register?

    1. Log in to the Member Website
    2. Go to the calendar
    3. Select the workshop you’d like to attend
    4. Click Register
    5. Continue through to verify information and sign the waiver before confirmation of registration is received
